Cookies Policy

Own Your World Mastermind

Plain English Finance Limited

Effective from H2 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Plain English Finance Limited ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the landing, waiting-list, and application pages for our Own Your World Mastermind pages, hosted at go.plainenglishfinance.com and any subdomain of it.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal information.

Please note: this policy covers only our go.plainenglishfinance.com pages. Cookies used on our main website at plainenglishfinance.co.uk are dealt with in a separate Cookies Policy on that site.

1. What are cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit it. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to give the site owner information about how the site is being used.

Cookies can be either:

  • Session cookies - which last only as long as your browser session and are deleted when you close your browser; or
  • Persistent cookies - which stay on your device for a set period after your session ends.

Alongside cookies, websites can use similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage). Where we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we mean cookies and these similar technologies.

2. Our cookie banner

2.1 When you first visit any of our go.plainenglishfinance.com pages, you will see a cookie banner explaining that we use cookies and inviting you to either Accept all cookies or Accept essential cookies only.

2.2 Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are set.

2.3 If you choose Accept essential, we will only set the cookies we need to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice.

2.4 If you later want to change or clear your cookie choice, you can do so at browser level (see section 6).

3. The cookies we use on these pages

Our go.plainenglishfinance.com pages are deliberately kept lean. The full list of cookies currently set is short:

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies

Cookie name Provider Purpose Duration
msgsndr_id LeadConnector / GoHighLevel (our landing-page platform) Session identifier used by our landing-page platform to keep the page working during your visit (for example, to associate you with a form submission). Session (deleted when you close your browser)
cookie-config LeadConnector / GoHighLevel Records the cookie choice you made in the banner, so we don't ask you again on your next visit. 12 months

3.2 What we do NOT use on these pages

For the avoidance of doubt, our go.plainenglishfinance.com pages do not currently use:

  • Google Analytics or any other website analytics tool;
  • the Meta / Facebook Pixel or any other advertising pixel;
  • any behavioural tracking, remarketing, or profiling cookies; or
  • any third-party marketing cookies of any kind.

If we ever add any of these tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent via the cookie banner before setting them.

4. Third parties - what they do with the information

The two cookies listed in section 3.1 are set by our landing-page platform provider, LeadConnector (also known as GoHighLevel), acting as our data processor. LeadConnector processes the information on our behalf, in line with a written agreement, to enable the pages to function.

For more on the wider set of third parties we work with in our business, please see section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies set by embedded content

If we ever add embedded third-party content to these pages (for example, an embedded YouTube video, a Vimeo video, or a Calendly booking widget), the third party may set its own cookies on your device when you interact with that content. We do not control those cookies.

At the time this policy was written, our go.plainenglishfinance.com pages do not embed any such third-party content. If that changes, we will update this policy.

6. How to control cookies at browser level

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, independently of the choices you make on our site. Every browser is slightly different, but the settings are usually under "Privacy", "Security", or "Cookies". Guides for the most common browsers:

Please note that if you block or delete all cookies, some parts of our site may not work as intended.

7. "Do Not Track" signals

Our site does not currently respond to browser-level "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no widely accepted standard for how a site should behave when it receives one. You can rely on our cookie banner and the browser controls above to control tracking on our site.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time - for example, if we add a new tool or if our platform provider changes what its cookies do. The current version is always available on our website with the effective date shown at the top.

9. Contact us

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, or you have spotted a cookie on our site that is not listed here, please contact us at [email protected] or in writing at Plain English Finance Limited, Stag Gates House, 63/64 The Avenue, Southampton, Hampshire, SO17 1XS.
